Ethan Ruby is the founder of Poker4Life, GiveGoodGet, and Gooderz. He is a partner in Wearable Collections, the president of CityStreets, and works as a consultant and public speaker. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997 Ethan spent time in Boston and Miami as an independent Day Trader. He later moved to New York City where he co-founded a successful Wall Street Day Trading firm. In 2000 Ethan was hit by a car while walking in a cross walk, paralyzing him from the chest down. Now a T-6 paraplegic, Ethan has put his entrepreneurial talents and success in the financial world to use helping others. He focuses his efforts on raising money for several charitable organizations and has established a few of his own. Recently, Ethan has added inventor to his resume and hopes to continue creating unique solutions for unsolved problems, particularly as they pertain to living with Spinal Cord Injury. Ethan regularly addresses college and graduate-level classes on the topics of living with SCI, overcoming adversity, and personal motivation as well as the key components to leading a happy and meaningful life.
